山まゆの里染織工房 / yamamayu では、
繭から真綿へ、糸へ、そして布へ。
自然とともにある手しごとを、少人数のワークショップとしてひらいています。

八王子では、草木で染めた絹の色や素材の組み合わせを楽しみながら、小さな布の作品をつくる時間を。
山梨では、繭、真綿、糸、染め、織りへとつながる流れに触れ、素材から布へ向かう時間を受け取る会を。
さらに、季節ごとの noasobi ワークショップ、2泊3日の夏の滞在型プログラム、そして一年をかけて自分だけのストールを育てる年間教室も予定しています。

山梨｜毎月の定例ワークショップ

繭から布へ｜山梨の工房で過ごす小さな時間

山梨の工房では、
繭、真綿、糸、染め、織りへとつながる流れに触れる定例ワークショップを、毎月第3週に開催しています。

完成したものを作って終わるためではなく、
素材が布へ向かう時間そのものに触れることを大切にしています。

内容は、季節や素材に応じて月ごとに変わります。

  • 開催：毎月第3週（金・土）
  • 場所：山梨の工房
  • 人数：2〜5名
  • 時間：10:00〜15:00

八王子｜毎月の定例ワークショップ

絹の色を組む｜八王子でつくる小さな作品

八王子では、
草木で染めた絹の色や素材の組み合わせを楽しみながら、小さな布の作品をつくる定例ワークショップを毎月第4週に開催しています。

山梨の工房で行う会が「素材から布へ向かう流れ」に触れるものだとすれば、
八王子では、すでにある糸と色から、小さな布の表情を立ち上げていきます。

内容は、季節や素材に応じて月ごとに変わります。

  • 開催：毎月第4週（金・土）
  • 場所：八王子アトリエ
  • 人数：2〜5名
  • 時間：10:00〜15:00

noasobi ワークショップ

季節と素材に触れる小さな会

noasobi ワークショップは、
養蚕や野蚕、植物や山の季節に触れる小さな会です。
内容は季節に応じて変わり、年に数回開催します。

2026年は、以下の開催を予定しています。

  • 4月29日（水・祝）｜天蚕の季節のはじまり｜卵付けの会
  • 5月下旬｜天蚕の幼虫を観る会
  • 6月｜天蚕の繭の収穫の会
  • 秋｜養蚕と真綿の会
  • 開催：年4回前後
  • 場所：山梨
  • 時間：主に10:00〜14:00

  • 内容：季節に応じて変わります

山梨｜2泊3日 夏のワークショップ

山の時間にひたる滞在型プログラム

宿泊をともなう、2泊3日の夏のワークショップです。
自然の中に身を置きながら、繭や草木、手仕事のある時間にゆっくり浸ります。

年間教室

一年をかけて織る｜自分のストールを育てる教室

蚕から真綿へ、草木で染め、糸を紡ぎ、たてばたで織る。
一年を通して、自分だけのストールを少しずつ育てていく年間教室です。

2026年は、9月開講を予定しています。
初心者の方もご参加いただけます。

Workshops 2026

At yamamayu, we offer small-group workshops that follow the path from cocoon to mawata, thread, and cloth.

In Hachioji, the focus is on color, composition, and creating a small textile piece.
In Yamanashi, the workshops invite you to encounter the process through which material moves toward cloth.
We also host seasonal noasobi workshops, a 2-night/3-day summer program, and a year-long class for creating your own stole.

Yamanashi | Monthly Workshop

From Cocoon to Cloth | A Quiet Day at the Yamanashi Studio

A monthly workshop in Yamanashi, held mainly on the 3rd week of each month.

Rather than making a finished object and taking it home, this workshop values encountering the time through which material moves toward cloth.

The content changes from month to month, following the seasons and materials.

  • Held: Mainly on the 3rd week of each month (Friday / Saturday)
  • Place: Yamanashi studio
  • Group size: 2 to 5 participants
  • Time: 10:00–15:00
  • Lunch included

Hachioji | Monthly Workshop

Composing Silk Colors | A Small art work in Hachioji

A monthly workshop in Hachioji, held mainly on the 4th week of each month.

While the Yamanashi workshop follows the flow from material toward cloth, the Hachioji workshop begins with prepared threads and colors, and composes the expression of a small textile piece.

Each month offers a different theme, while the core remains the same: composing color and texture into a small woven piece.

  • Held: Mainly on the 4th week of each month (Friday / Saturday)
  • Place: Hachioji atelier
  • Group size: 2 to 5 participants
  • Time: 10:00–15:00

noasobi Workshops

Small Gatherings to Encounter the Seasons and Materials

Seasonal noasobi workshops are small gatherings connected to silkworms, wild silk, plants, and the rhythms of the mountain.

They are held a few times a year, with different themes depending on the season.

  • April 29 (Wed, Holiday) | The Beginning of the Tensan Season | A Gathering for Placing the Eggs
  • Late May | A Gathering to Observe the Larvae
  • June | A Gathering for Harvesting Cocoons
  • Autumn | A Gathering on Silkworm Rearing and Mawata

Yamanashi | 2-Night / 3-Day Summer Workshop

An Immersive Stay in the Time of the Mountain

A 2-night/3-day summer workshop in Yamanashi, designed as a more immersive stay in the mountain environment and the rhythm of handwork.

Year-Long Class

Weaving Across a Year | A Class for Growing Your Own Stole

A year-long class for creating your own stole through silk floss, plant dyeing, spinning, and weaving.

Planned to begin in September 2026. Beginners are welcome.

A. No. The monthly workshops in Yamanashi and Hachioji are held regularly, but their content changes from month to month according to the seasons and materials.

Q. Is there anything I should bring?
A. Please check each detail page. For outdoor gatherings, we may ask you to bring long sleeves, long pants, a hat, boots, and similar items.
