旅する布 — yamamayuのTextileは、日本各地の百貨店やギャラリーを巡りながら、
出会った方の暮らしの中へと迎えられていきます。
森に育まれた繭から、真綿、糸、そして布へ。
130年続く染め・織り・紡ぎの技でかたちになった一枚一枚が、
会場ごとに少しずつ違う表情で並びます。

Exhibitions – Traveling Textiles
yamamayu’s textiles travel around Japan, appearing in department stores and galleries
before finding their way into daily life.
From cocoons nurtured in the forest to silk floss, yarn and finally Textile,
each piece is woven with techniques handed down over 130 years.
Every venue offers a slightly different gathering of works.
