この作品について

Studioシリーズの3配色タイプは、毎年、配色や色の違いでさまざまなタイプの作品を制作しています。
色糸は一回に3かせほどしか染めないため、まったく同じ色が再び出るとは限りません。
その年、その季節、そのときの出会いから生まれる、一期一会の布です。

素材

この作品は絹100％。経糸・緯糸ともに絹正糸を用いています。
糸の張りと光沢が、からみ構造の「空気の通り」と重なり、軽さの中に静かな存在感が生まれます。

技法

からみ織り（Leno weaving）は、糸の間に空気が通う織り。
目が開くことで、風と光が布の中を抜け、巻いたときに透けや奥行きが生まれます。
この作品では、織りの密度差が光の角度で色の重なりをふっと浮かび上がらせます。

工程の証拠

色糸は一度に3かせほどしか染めません。
同じ植物、同じ染料でも、季節・温度・水・染めの時間で色は揺らぎます。
糸の染め、整経、織りの手元——工程の積み重ねが、そのまま布の表情になっています。

機能

軽く、空気を含み、首元にやさしいストールです。
巻き方で色の出方や透け感が変わるため、装いの中で静かに表情を変えながら寄り添います。

This piece is 100% silk, woven with silk filament yarn for both warp and weft.

Leno weaving is an open structure that lets air pass between threads.
As the structure opens, light and wind move through the textile, revealing transparency and depth when worn.
In this piece, subtle shifts in density allow layers of color to rise gently with changing light.

Process Proof

We dye only a small amount of colored silk at a time—about three skeins per batch.
Even with the same materials, color changes with season, temperature, water, and timing.
Dyeing, warping, and the rhythm of weaving hands—each step becomes part of the textile’s surface.
