先週の金曜日、前回の講習に参加できなかった方のための染織教室を開催しました。
夏休み中のお子様も一緒にいらしたので、まずは四尾連湖へお散歩に行きました。
雲の流れが速かったので晴れたり曇ったりと慌ただしい天気でしたが、四尾連湖はカヤックやサップをやる人や犬たちで賑わっていました。今年から森林の中でのサウナもできたようで、フィンランド風にサウナから出たら湖に入れるようになっていました。薪ストーブでのサウナのようで、どのくらいの熱さになるのか気になります。
湖畔を歩きながら毬栗を発見。今回の染めは青い毬栗と、乾燥した葡萄の幹とキハダで染めました
自家製鉄媒染材を使った毬栗染めは、市販の鉄媒染材とは違った青みがかった黒に染まったので、驚きと共に感動でした。
Mid-august, we held a dyeing and weaving workshop for those who were unable to attend the previous class.
We first went for a walk at Lake Shibire nere our workshop.
We found chestnuts while walking along the lake. This time, we dyed it with chestnuts, dried grape trunks, and amur corktree.
I was surprised and excited that the ch dyeing using homemade iron mordant produced a bluish black color that was different from commercially available iron mordant.
お昼は、タコスの皮を子ども達に焼いてもらいチリコンカーンやお肉の代わりに高野豆腐などを入れたベジタコスミート、ワカモーレ、トマトのサルサなどを巻いて食べました。
その後、子ども達はモチモチのグミ作りをしたりと実験のようなお菓子作りで盛り上がっていました。デザートは、白桃のコンポートのココナッツプリン添えでした。
今ままでの染織教室をとおして30色もの真綿ができました。
これからその真綿を糸にしていく作業が始まります。
For lunch, the children grilled taco skins and wrapped them in chili con carne, vegetable tacos with meat such as Koya tofu instead of meat, guacamole, and tomato salsa.
Through the dyeing and weaving workshop in 2023 so far, We have been able to make flossy silks in 30 colors.
We are going to spin the flossy silk from next workshop.
