鹿児島県 霧島神宮駅「光来 -corai-」駅舎内にある「慈慈」での作品展は、1月26日（日）をもちまして無事に終了いたしました。
会期中お立ち寄りくださった皆さま、そして支えてくださった関係者の皆さまに、心より御礼申し上げます。
私自身も12月7日から9日に、霧島神宮駅を訪れました。木の骨組みが美しい駅舎の中に、私たちの作品が展示されている「慈慈」があり、空間の心地よさとともに作品が佇む様子がとても印象に残っています。
私たちが想像する“駅のお店”とは少し違い、「慈慈」には、ひとつひとつにストーリーが宿るこだわりの品々が並びます。ネーミングも素敵な「山登りしたくなるかもしれないVegan Cookie」など、店内を回るだけでワクワクする場所でした。観光客の方だけでなく、鹿児島県内の方々も頻繁に訪れるお店だそうです。
ありがたいことに私たちの作品も、国内外の観光客の方や常連のお客様にお求めいただいていると伺いました。すでに複数回お越しくださっているお客様が、1月にはお友達を連れてまた来てくださる、というお話もとても嬉しく励みになりました。
私たちの作品展は通常、中川原哲治と惠子が会場で作品のストーリーをお伝えする形が中心ですが、今回は光来のスタッフの皆さまに“ストーリーテラー”になっていただきました。昨年10月には山梨の工房にもお越しいただき、創作への想いを直接お伝えし、今回は実際にストールを身に纏ってくださる場面も。そんな素敵なスタッフの皆さまがいてくださったからこそ、私たちのTextileも会場でいっそう輝いていたのだと思います。
一ヶ月ほどの長い期間、展示をさせていただき、会期終盤には中川原哲治と惠子も会場に立ち、直接お話しできる時間もいただきました。改めまして、たくさんの出会いとご縁に感謝いたします。

Exhibition Report — Kirishima-Jingu Station “Corai” (Jiji), Kagoshima
Our exhibition at Jiji, located inside the station building of Kirishima-Jingu Station “Corai” in Kagoshima, successfully concluded on January 26.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited and supported the exhibition.
I also visited the station from December 7 to 9. The wooden structure of the station building is truly beautiful, and it was deeply moving to see our Textiles quietly displayed within that warm, welcoming space.
Jiji is not a typical “station shop.” Every item feels carefully chosen and comes with its own story—making the space exciting to explore. It is loved not only by travelers, but also by many local visitors from Kagoshima.
We are especially grateful that our Textiles have found new homes with visitors from Japan and abroad, as well as with returning customers. In this exhibition, the staff of Corai also became wonderful storytellers for our work. They even visited our studio in Yamanashi last October to learn about our making process, and some of them wore our stoles during the exhibition—an incredibly touching support that helped our Textiles shine in the space.
