今年の「絹からみ織りコート」は、糸と織りにこだわりました。
絡み織りの技法やシルエットは従来のままですが、正絹糸や絹強撚糸、太さがさまざまな絹真綿手紡ぎ糸、野蚕のアタカス蚕糸などを組み合わせ、さらに数十色もの糸を織り交ぜることで、ストールとしても見応えのある布をコートに仕立てています。
光を織り込むように、一本一本の糸が響きあう。
yamamayuの「絹からみ織りコート」は、今年も新たな表情を見せています。
同じ組み合わせでは二度と織れない—まさに一点もののコートです。

糸はすべて、山梨の工房で染め・織り上げたもの。
季節の光や風がそのまま布の中に息づいています。
写真のコートは札幌三越でお客さまにお求めいただきましたが、うめだ阪急での作品展では、新たに織り上げた別のコートをお披露目いたします。

English Version
Silk Leno Weave Coat — A Textile of Light and Color
This year’s Silk Leno Weave Coat was created with particular attention to yarn and weaving.
While the technique and silhouette remain the same, different types of silk threads and multiple colors were combined to produce a textile striking enough to be used as a stole—then tailored into a coat.
Each coat is truly one-of-a-kind, never to be woven in exactly the same way.

Each thread is dyed and woven in our Yamanashi studio, where the changing light and wind become part of the textile itself.
The coat shown in this photo has already been purchased at Sapporo Mitsukoshi, but at the upcoming Umeda Hankyu exhibition, a newly woven coat crafted in the same spirit will be unveiled.
We invite you to experience the gentle interplay of light, color, and air through the fabric.
