昨年に続き、今年も鹿児島県・霧島神宮駅「光来 -corai-」駅舎内にある「慈慈」にて、作品展を開催しています。
会期は11月28日〜1月上旬まで。旅の途中にふと立ち寄れる、木の骨組みが美しい駅舎の中で、私たちのTextileが静かに並びます。
会期序盤の11月29日〜31日は、中川原哲治と惠子が現地に滞在し、作品のストーリーや布の背景を直接お伝えする時間をいただきました。お越しくださった皆さま、ありがとうございます。
今年もありがたい出会いが生まれています。
「風呂敷」という名のマルチクロスをお求めくださったゲストの方が、後日それを素敵に巻いて見せに来てくださったり、パナマから旅で訪れていた方にお迎えいただいたり。
布が旅をつなぎ、人と人の間に小さな温度を灯してくれるような出来事に、私たちも胸があたたかくなりました。
「慈慈」には、ひとつひとつにストーリーを持つものが並び、駅という場所にありながら、ゆっくりと時間が流れます。霧島へお越しの際は、どうぞ気軽にお立ち寄りください。

Exhibition Announcement — Kirishima-Jingu Station “Corai” (Jiji), Kagoshima
Following last year’s exhibition, we are delighted to present our Textiles again this year at “Corai –Jiji-“, located inside the station building of Kirishima-Jingu Station in Kagoshima.
The exhibition runs from November 28 to early January. Our Textiles are displayed within the warm atmosphere of the station’s beautiful wooden structure—an inviting stop along your journey.
From November 29 to 31, Tetsuji and Keiko Nakagawara stayed on site and had the pleasure of sharing the stories behind the work with visitors in person. Thank you to everyone who came by during those days.
This year, we have already been blessed with wonderful encounters.
A guest who purchased our multi-purpose cloth—also known as Furoshiki—later returned wearing it beautifully, and a traveler visiting from Panama also chose a piece to take home.
Moments like these remind us how Textiles can connect journeys, people, and quiet warmth in everyday life.
When you visit Kirishima, we warmly invite you to stop by and experience the pieces in person. We hope you’ll find a Textile that gently accompanies your days.
Although the exhibition has ended, our cotton stoles and multi-purpose cloths—known as furoshiki—are still available to view.
