中川原 哲治・惠子と里彩 染め 織り 紡ぎの布展
～風を纏い光をたたえる、繭からの布～
京都大丸での作品展は、無事に会期を終えることができました。
ご来場くださった皆さま、足を止めて布に触れてくださった皆さま、そして会場の皆さまに、心より御礼申し上げます。
樹々の葉に育まれた繭から、真綿、糸、そして布へ。
130年にわたり受け継いだ染織の技で、風が通い、光をたたえる織りのたたずまいを、今回も会場で静かにお届けできたことを嬉しく思います。
会期中には、「なかなか京都では出会うことのない、京都の織りとは違う感性の織り布」だと、いっていただき会期中に何度も足を運んでいただいた方もいらっしゃいました。
布は“完成”で終わらず、使うほどにその人の暮らしに馴染み、育っていくもの。これからも、そんな布づくりを続けていきます。

Tetsuji, Keiko and Lisa Nakagawara — Dyeing, Weaving, Spinning: Textiles from Cocoon
Our exhibition at Daimaru Kyoto has come to a close. Thank you sincerely to everyone who visited, paused to look closely, and shared conversations with us—along with the wonderful team at the venue.
From cocoons nurtured by the leaves of trees to silk floss, thread, and Textile— we continue shaping an airy presence where wind can pass and light can quietly gather, using dyeing and weaving techniques handed down for over 130 years.
During the week, we had many meaningful exchanges about yarn character (silk yarn vs. silk floss yarn), the transparency of leno weaving, and the depth of color drawn from season and material. We hope these Textiles will keep growing with you—becoming “your Textile” in daily life.
