A report from our dyeing & weaving workshop in Hachioji. From removing pupae from cocoons to making silk floss, natural dyeing, spinning, warping, and weaving — the journey led to a completed choker. We also share a nourishing lunch time and announce our upcoming workshop (2 spots left).

特別な日に贈られた100本のバラ。
その花束を、新しいかたちに残したい――。
おふたりが丁寧に向き合いながら染めたストールと真綿は、
それぞれの想いを映すように美しい色に仕上がりました。
やがて糸となり、布へと生まれ変わっていきます。

A bouquet of one hundred roses, given on a special day.
With the wish to keep it alive in a new form,
five silk stoles and silk wadding were dyed with care.
Each color reflected their heartfelt touch,
and will one day be spun into yarn and woven into fabric.
