Composing Silk Colors | A Small Textile Piece in Hachioji

A monthly workshop in Hachioji centered on color, texture, and a small woven textile piece.

  • Held mainly on the 4th week of each month (Friday / Saturday)

Small Seasonal Gatherings

Small gatherings connected to silkworms, wild silk, plants, and the rhythms of the mountain, held a few times each year.

Summer / Year-Long Programs

Immersive Time in the Mountains

A 2-night / 3-day summer stay program and a year-long class for growing your own stole are planned in Yamanashi.

  • Year-long class: planned to begin in Sep 2026
  • Location: Yamanashi studio
  • Year-long class: 6 to 7 sessions

Q. Can beginners join?
A. Yes. Beginners are welcome in the regular workshops, noasobi gatherings, and year-long class.

Q. Is the content the same every month?
A. No. The Yamanashi and Hachioji workshops are held monthly, but the content changes with the season and materials.

Q. How do I reserve?
A. Please use the reservation / inquiry link on each detailed page, or apply through BASE when available.

Q. Do I need to bring anything?
A. Details are provided on each workshop page. Outdoor gatherings may require long sleeves, long trousers, boots, or a hat.
