A small seasonal gathering for attaching tensan eggs to the trees
and touching the quiet beginning of the season.
On this day, we will work outdoors and spend time with the early stage of silkworm life
as it begins within the natural landscape.
The outdoor activity itself will last about two hours.
Afterwards, we will return to the studio for a light handmade medicinal-style meal before closing.
Beginners are very welcome.

What We Will Do
- A short introduction to tensan silkworms
- Attaching eggs outdoors
- Guidance on the mountain environment and the season
- A short talk and time for questions back at the studio
- A handmade medicinal-style light meal at the end

Access
If you are coming by train, please come to Ichikawadaimon Station on the JR Minobu Line.
We will pick you up by car from the station.
If you are coming by car, parking is available.

What to Wear / Bring
- Clothes that can get dirty

- Rain gear (if rain is forecast)
For safety in the grass and outdoors, please wear clothing that covers your skin as much as possible.
After the activity, please also check your clothes and body for any insects.
In Case of Rain
The gathering will go ahead in light rain, but will be cancelled in severe weather.
We will contact you by the day before to confirm whether the gathering will take place.
Food
At the end of the gathering, we will prepare a light handmade medicinal-style meal.
Please let us know in advance if you have any food allergies.
