A silk leno-weave coat that carries the quiet atmosphere of twilight. Threads of indigo, violet, and a touch of charcoal overlap softly, allowing layers of blue to shift gently with the light.
Its airy transparency is balanced by the natural sheen and fluidity of silk. As the wearer moves, subtle reflections appear within the weave, giving the figure a quiet depth.

About the Work
Threads holding indigo, violet, and a hint of charcoal overlap softly within the leno weave, creating a quiet blue gradation like an evening sky. Seen up close, the layering of threads appears in detail; from a distance, it rises as a calm field of light.
With a length that is neither too long nor too short, it can be worn lightly through the changing seasons. Though a coat, it holds the lightness of a stole and the quiet presence of a textile work.

Background
This work was shaped through both weaving and post-dyeing so that each piece would hold its own expression. Indigo, violet, and the slightest trace of charcoal create within the cloth a depth and fluctuation like an evening sky.
Leno weave allows air and light to pass through the cloth, creating transparency and depth in movement. In Twilight Memory, pale shifts of blue appear within that structure, and the impression of the cloth changes little by little depending on time of day and viewing distance. The same piece can never be made again.
Depending on light and photography conditions, the color may appear different from the actual work. Small variations in size or tone may occur through the dyeing and weaving process; please receive these as part of the expression of a one-of-a-kind piece.
Professional dry cleaning for silk is recommended. Friction and direct sunlight may slowly change the color and texture over time, and these changes may also be enjoyed as part of the life of silk.
