第24回 中川原哲治・惠子と里彩
染め 織り 紡ぎ の布展
― 風を纏い光をたたえる、繭からの布 ―
2026年8月26日（水）から31日（月）まで、札幌三越 本館9階 三越ギャラリーにて、第24回となる作品展を開催いたしました。
山梨の工房で、繭から真綿、糸、そして布へとつないできた仕事をご覧いただきました。
樹々の葉に育まれた繭と向き合い、糸をつくり、染め、織る。その長い時間から生まれた布には、それぞれに異なる色と表情があります。
会場には、夏の光のなかで織り上げた新作をはじめ、軽やかに風を通し、装いや暮らしに寄り添う布が並びました。
中川原哲治・惠子が会期中在廊し、布の素材や制作の背景について、皆さまと直接お話しする時間をいただきました。
会場で布をお手に取り、光の透け方や素材ごとの手触りをご覧くださった皆さまに、心より御礼申し上げます。
また札幌の地で、私たちの布をご覧いただける日を楽しみにしております。

The 24th Textile Exhibition

Cloth from the Cocoon, Holding Light and Moving with the Wind
Our 24th exhibition at Sapporo Mitsukoshi was held from August 26 to 31, 2026.
The exhibition presented textiles created in our studio in Yamanashi, following the long journey from cocoon to mawata silk, thread, and cloth.
Each piece begins with natural materials and is shaped through the quiet processes of spinning, dyeing, and weaving. The finished cloth carries its own colours, textures, and expressions.
The gallery brought together new works woven in the summer light, along with airy textiles created to accompany both the body and everyday life.
Tetsuji and Keiko Nakagawara were present throughout the exhibition and had the opportunity to speak with visitors about the materials and processes behind the works.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who visited the gallery, touched the textiles, and experienced the way light passes through the different silks.
We look forward to sharing our textiles in Sapporo again.
